This week students worked with charcoal and the concept of shading, and followed an instructional video on how to create a nature scene with mountains.  Some pretty good results!


                              

Perspective Drawings

Students have been working on drawing 1 and 2 point perspective.  Here are examples of their final projects!





     

Students learned about the importance of lines of art.  They then created designs with  their hands and their names using different types of lines.


          

Students created nature collages using with fall leaves they pressed......

  It's fall-  A good time to use nature in artwork!

Students created raised tiles with leaves.  They chose leaves and designed a tile.  Then they covered the leaves with foil and pressed down to lift the texture of the leaves.  After a coat of spray paint dried, students scraped it with steel wool to expose the texture of the leaf.
